Mintlify’s standard deployment stores data in the United States on AWS infrastructure. No additional configuration is needed for US customers who want their data to remain in the US.

Default data location

Customer data (account information, repository content, analytics) is stored on AWS US East (N. Virginia) by default.

Compliance frameworks

SOC 2 Type II — Mintlify’s infrastructure and security controls are audited annually. Enterprise customers can request a copy of the SOC 2 report under NDA by contacting security@mintlify.com. CCPA — Mintlify supports California Consumer Privacy Act rights for California residents. Submit data rights requests to privacy@mintlify.com. HIPAA — Mintlify does not currently offer a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) for HIPAA-covered entities. Do not store protected health information (PHI) in Mintlify. FedRAMP — Mintlify is not FedRAMP authorized. For US federal government customers with FedRAMP requirements, contact sales@mintlify.com to discuss options.

Government requests

Mintlify publishes an annual transparency report covering the number and type of government requests for customer data. We notify customers of requests affecting their data when legally permitted to do so.
